Didcot should be confident
5:24pm Wednesday 14th May 2008
A new logo aimed at 'rebranding' Didcot has received a mixed reaction. Hardly surprising, as these attempts at encapsulating places and things in a single brand are usually doomed to failure.

Congratulations to Boris
2:55pm Wednesday 7th May 2008
Congratulations to Boris Johnson on winning the election for Mayor of London.

Warm welcome ahead for RAF arrivals
1:43pm Wednesday 30th April 2008
The influx of new personnel to RAF Benson is a shot in the arm for the whole area. For certain, the prospect of another 1,000 people will benefit trade in Wallingford, but it is also likely to bring benefits to Didcot and Abingdon too.

Regent plans at dead end
9:00am Thursday 13th March 2008
We appear to be at something of a dead end as far as the former Regent Cinema in Wantage is concerned.

Failings at 999 control
2:16pm Wednesday 5th March 2008
We are pleased to see that the ambulance service has eventually admitted that it cannot lay any blame on the caller for its error in sending an emergency vehicle to Grove, near Leighton Buzzard, instead of Grove, Oxfordshire, last week.

Didcot moving up a level
3:31pm Wednesday 27th February 2008
IF anybody needed any more evidence that Didcot is moving to another level, it is there in black and white this week.
