National Highways has confirmed the road will be closed for resurfacing work with the Marcham slip road also scheduled to be closed in addition to lanes on the A34.
It comes as emergency repair works took place on Thursday morning at the Botley Interchange.
One lane was closed northbound between the Hinksey Hill Interchange and the Botley Interchange for the unscheduled work.
Traffic was said to be coping well while the repair works were taking place.
