THREE drivers from South Oxfordshire have been sentenced for drink driving on the A34.

Kay Odiase, Diego Gomez, and Matthew Brewin were all caught in March this year driving above the drink-drive level.

All three appeared at Oxford Magistrates Court to be sentenced at the end of last month.

Odiase, 43, of Holly Lane, Didcot, was caught on March 2 this year driving in a Ford Kuga with 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

She pleaded guilty on March 21 and was disqualified from driving for 17 months, reduced by 17 weeks, and fined £317.

Odiase was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £127.

Gomez, 35, of Fieldside, Abingdon, was caught on March 3 in an Audi TT with 85 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

He pleaded guilty on March 21 and was disqualified from driving for 20 months, reduced by 20 weeks, and fined £507.

Gomez was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £203.

Brewin, 24, of Thornhill Walk, Abingdon, was caught on March 6 in a Ford Transit with 72 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

He was disqualified from driving for 20 months, reduced by 20 weeks, and fined £440. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £176.
