A BRASS band based in Wantage is hosting a summer concert next month with a famous tuba virtuoso.

Les Neish, a UK based professional freelance tuba player known for having worked with many of leading orchestras, ensembles and more, will be performing with the Wantage Silver Band on Sunday, July 10.

Wantage Silver Band also recently came third in the 2022 Grand Shield competition, a British Open Brass Band Championship.

The concert will start at 3pm at The Beacon in Portway. Tickets cost £10 per adults and £6 for children.
