SQUASH: Barrington heads top field

Joey Barrington, who is in the world's top 50, heads a strong field of 32 professionals in the Hithercroft Open, at Wallingford, starting on May 27.

This international event run under the auspices of the Professional Squash Association will include players from the United Kingdom, Egypt, Sweden, Namibia, France, USA, and South Africa.

Local professionals, Scott Handley, Ryan Thompson and Paul Johnson will also be playing.

Matches will be played from 5.30 pm on Tuesday to Saturday, with the finals scheduled from noon on Sunday May 31.
