Paying tribute
I was very saddened to read in The Herald last week about the death of Jozef Gniadek. 'Joe' was a very popular well-known member of Wallingford community.
I would especially like to pay tribute to the tireless voluntary work he did for Wallingford day centre. He will be fondly remembered by the members and staff for the many years he contributed his time and energy to our Christmas parties and annual fete.
His plant stall raised much-needed funds for our entertainment and outings enjoyed and appreciated by the day centre users.
On behalf of all the staff and users who knew him, our thanks and thoughts are with his family at this time.
