'Flood's Folly'
I was not surprised by John Flood's letter last week attempting a defence of the indefensible. His opposition to town council involvement in Willowbrook is obviously being played out and until actually resolved its future does hang in the balance.
Furthermore, where I live in Didcot is irrelevant as first and foremost I am a resident of Didcot and Willowbrook is a town amenity.
With regards to the Civic Hall, while a repair and renewal fund is a prudent way to manage this relatively young facility, seeking to use the fund to replace the building as described at the town meeting is tantamount to creation of Flood's Folly.
