What a waste

A couple of weeks ago there was a small paragraph about unattended police surgeries at some named villages, one of which was ours - Aston Tirrold.

Our parish council knew nothing about it, nor had our village newsletter received anything about it (many bodies use such newsletters to maximise communication).

It turned out that the only "communication" was notices put on village noticeboards.

They had not even informed the village hall whose car park their car sat in. (Particularly frustrating as recent requests by the hall committee to discuss problems had been turned down.) What a waste of (stretched) police resources!
