The driver who died in a head-on crash on the A420 near Faringdon yesterday has been identified.
A spokesman for Oxford coroner's office said he was George Wilson, 70, of Gloucester Street, Faringdon.
At 7.10am, Mr Wilson's red Suzuki Swift was involved in a collision with a white lorry, between the A417 Park Road junction at Faringdon and the B4508 Majors Road junction at Watchfield.
The coroner's spokesman said an inquest is being opened and adjourned this afternoon.
