Promises to help school
A CHANCE to meet the stars of the television show QI is one of the prizes in an auction of promises at Wantage Primary School.
Others include a week's holiday in the Gironde, a Peruvian-themed evening including a meal and music, riding lessons, fitness training and a haircut and facial.
The £7.50-a-head event today, which starts at 7.30pm, includes a two-course meal and entertainment by local group Pandemonium.
All proceeds will go to the school and this year's major project of developing outdoor play areas.
