Twice as nice as twins club celebrates the summer
*
IT was double fun for members of a twins club who got together for a summer barbecue last weekend. On Sunday, the Wantage Twins Club gathered at the Butler Centre, in Church Street, for its second family barbecue. A total of ten sets of twins, along with their siblings, parents and grandparents, turned up to enjoy burgers, sausages and a baby's buffet for the younger members. The ages of the twins ranged from a few months old to three-years-old. The club was formed in 2005 and helps parents deal with the difficulties of multiple births. Organiser Judith Jackson, whose twin daughters Emma and Fiona, aged three, also came along, said: "We always have a wonderful time. "The point of the club is it is for parents of twins to get together to discuss the problems unique with multiple births, to have a coffee with people who understand what it's like to get up in the middle of the night to tend to two babies that need feeding."
