How exactly was he stuck?
Scared of heights to get down?
Got stuck in something at the top?
Got too ill and unable to be got down by other persons.
Often firefighters are called out because the victim is too heavy or awkward for anyone else to safely intervene. Were paramedics requested first rather than the precious resources of our ever cash strapped fire departments?

How ridiculous!!!
What a waste of resources. Obviously the parents supervising were too drunk to help huh?
