Oxford United were held to a 1-1 draw by unbeaten Kettering Town, who equalised in the 90th minute at the Kassam Stadium.

Yemi Odubade came off the bench to fire the U's in front on 72 minutes, after good work by Jamie Guy.

But Gareth Seddon levelled in the last minute for the visitors after Chris Beardsley's shot hit the post and rolled along the goalline.

The negative comments are obviously from peopl who weren't at the game. Both teams played well, a draw was a fair result.

Just remember Kettering have only let in 5 goals all season, and have yet to lose.

Kettering just happen to be 9 places above us AND HAVEN'T LOST A GAME. Even the Oxford website says they'll be near the top of the table at the end of the season. We're in the same league, with no right to win matches. This is sometimes the problem with us Oxford fans - we can't accept the current situation.

Anyway, after the last homegame this was a lot better. We need to try and build on this mini unbeaten run. Remember there's another 38 games to go, so we shouldn't be panicking yet!

oxford should be destroying this league endof story - it has far superior resources to its nearest competition.

and it dosnt, teams bring the team bus and park it infront of goal, so we should have a plan to deal with that.

COME ON PATTO SORT IT OUT

The league table doesn't show who "should" be at the top, it shows who has the most points. Lets get rid of this mentality, we are not a big club we are a big club for the Conference.

I am slightly mystified, what should be a medium for expressing views on Oxford United, appears to have turned in to a blog page for debating grammatical errors.

My understanding of this type of medium, lets call it a blog page, is that it should be a blank canvas for expression individual viewpoints on football, recognising the absents of a comma/full stop/ or wrong use of a tense is not the purpose of this medium.

Now on to football, I can understand fans be disappointed with a draw but it has to be put into context, Oxford conceded a goal (against a very good team) in the last few minuets of the match which was unfortunate, however had they not conceded and had gained all three points then the same fans that are shouting for DP’s head may well have been praising him as the new messiah.

“Horton Out Kemp Out” Appears to believe that Oxford should be destroying this league, as we have” far superior resources to our nearest competition.” This was indeed true in season one of our demise that’s when we did nearly destroy the league
but the longer we remain in the conference the faster those resources drip away
I for one sincerely believe if we go through this season without seriously challenging for a top six spot, then I can foresee serious financial implications for the club, with a rapid drop in attendances and income.

I take hope from the last time the “U’s” gained promotion, at Christmas we were in the bottom four or five teams, a near unbeaten run (and a lucky result on the last day of the season) gave us automatic promotion so lets see Saturdays point as a positive rather than a negative, the next 10 results will really define our season, if we can reach Christmas within 9 points of a play-off place, then its up to the team the manager and the board to make sure we don’t fail.

Actually....it's they're......and there's a ' in can't.

And are you only allowed to type in capitals?

Actually, if you really want to be pedantic, "and there's a ' in can't" should really read "and there's an ' in can't". Words beginning with a vowel, i.e. apostrophe, should be preceded by 'an' and not 'a'.

COME ON YOU YELLOWS!

Look on the bright side, think of all the new grounds you will be able to go to next season in the Conferance South.
