Teenager assaulted by gang
A teenager was left with cuts and bruises after being assaulted by a group of youths in Limborough Road, Wantage.
The 17-year-old boy was near the Focus store when he was approached by the group, who assaulted him, at about 7pm on Friday.
He managed to run away and call the police.
PC Jon Bodinham said: "Luckily the victim only suffered cuts and bruises but has been left shaken after this.
"There were other people in the area at the time including people driving past as the fight was happening.
"We are still investigating exactly what happened in this incident, and I would ask anyone who witnessed this assault to get in touch. "
Witnesses are urged to contact 08458 505505 or 0800 555111.
