Promises to help church

TEA for two in the House of Lords, wine tastings, boat rides on the Thames and help with a planning application are among many things on offer at an auction of promises and gifts to raise money for the St Mary's, Wallingford, renewal campaign, designed to make the church more flexible and able to be used for many different events.

It is being held on May 31 at 7pm in the Masonic Centre, Goldsmiths Lane.
